In observance of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, the Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays nationwide. Following this announcement, the management of Adekunle Ajasin University has directed that the institution be closed for official duties on the above dates, except for essential staff who will ensure the continuity of critical operations.

According to a circular signed by Registrar Olugbenga Arajulu on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. Ige, all academic and administrative activities will be suspended during the declared public holidays. The university community has been informed that official activities will resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

In his message, the Vice Chancellor extended warm wishes to all members of staff and students for a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration. He expressed hope that the break would provide an opportunity for the community to come together with family and friends, reflecting on the values of sacrifice, compassion, and community that the occasion embodies.
